OEM probes engineered around your instrument

OEM oscilloscope probes, handsfree probing systems and device-under-test solutions for test and measurement manufacturers, from specification to series production.

Why Sensepeek

Turn probing into a product advantage

An OEM probe should be more than a standard accessory with a different logo. We develop it as part of your instrument, so it preserves signal integrity and makes the most of the system’s bandwidth.

Instrument-specific engineering
Developed around the input path, operating ranges, connector interface and mechanics of your instrument.
System-level performance
Bandwidth, rise time, frequency response, loading and compensation optimised across the whole signal path.
Compliance-ready
Safety, target markets, documentation, labelling and user information from the start, with testing by TÜV Rheinland where applicable.
Every probe tested
Each probe is electrically and functionally tested against defined production limits before it ships.

Three passive oscilloscope probes in black and grey housings with different tips, built on existing Sensepeek probe platforms.
Probe platforms

Built on a proven platform

A new probe should not start from a blank page. Our SR probe platforms are already designed, characterised and tested by TÜV Rheinland against IEC 61010-031. We adapt bandwidth, attenuation, interface, mechanics, connector and brand to your instrument, so you get your own probe without the risk of a design from scratch.

Probe cables ending in five different instrument connectors, from MMCX and SMA to SMB and BNC, each made for its instrument.
Your instrument

Your instrument is the starting point

A probe that performs well with one instrument may not with another. A representative instrument is integrated into our development environment, and we characterise its input paths, ranges and operating modes before we develop the probe around it. The instrument should define the measurement capability, not the probe.

Three passive probes mounted in magnetic handsfree holders on flexible arms, each holder carrying its own brand label.
Probe holders

Handsfree, under your brand

Many measurements need more hands than the engineer has. We combine your probe with our magnetic handsfree positioning system, so the probe stays on the test point while the engineer works the instrument. Delivered in your brand, it becomes part of your instrument, not an accessory from someone else.

Acceptance criteria

Performance defined before development

Each OEM program gets its own technical acceptance criteria, agreed with you and verified on the actual instrument.

Depending on the platform, typical design targets include amplitude flatness within ±0.5 dB through at least one third of the specified bandwidth, with the response above −2 dB at the specified probe bandwidth. Limits can also be set for rise time, overshoot, ringing, loading, compensation range, input characteristics and mechanical performance.

These are typical engineering targets, not product claims. Final limits are agreed with you.

Process

A controlled path to series production

01. Project definition

Together we define the instrument platform, target bandwidth, attenuation, input characteristics, mechanical interface, expected volumes, target markets, branding and technical acceptance criteria. Both teams have a clear specification before development begins.

A PCBite SQ200 probe being connected to a Saleae Logic MSO.
OEM in practice: Saleae

PCBite SQ200 for the Saleae Logic MSO

Commissioned by Saleae and developed together with them, this 200 MHz probe is designed and tuned for the Saleae Logic MSO, with an SMB connector that fits the instrument directly. Saleae stocks it and sells it directly as an approved accessory.

Two SQB1 I3C probes connected to a Binho Supernova host adapter through its adapter board.
OEM in practice: Binho

SQB1 I3C probe for the Binho Supernova

Commissioned by Binho and developed together with them, the SQB1 is an I3C probe designed and adapted for the Binho Supernova host adapter. Binho stocks it and sells it directly as an approved accessory.

Supplier qualification

Ready for technical approval and supplier qualification

An OEM program must support your engineering, quality, compliance, purchasing and supply-chain processes, not only electrical performance.

We keep controlled technical and compliance documentation: product safety, EU declarations of conformity, RoHS, REACH, packaging requirements and market-specific material assessments. See Compliance.

We also keep documented policies on business ethics, labour and human rights, and responsible procurement, which guide our own work and our relationships with manufacturing partners and suppliers.
