Frequently Asked Questions

It depends on the instrument:

• SP10 and SQ10 (DC to 10 MHz) connect to logic analyzers, multimeters, power supplies and debug adapters through Dupont and banana leads.
• SQ100, SQ200, SQ350 and SQ500 are passive 10:1 oscilloscope probes with a BNC connector for 1 MΩ inputs.
• SQG15, SQG30 and SQG60 reach 1.5, 3 and 6 GHz on instruments with a 50 Ω input.

What counts is the system bandwidth: the oscilloscope and the probe together. It is always lower than either of them alone.

A 100 MHz oscilloscope with a 100 MHz probe gives a system bandwidth of about 70 MHz. With a 350 MHz probe it rises to about 96 MHz.

So choose a probe rated well above your oscilloscope, and the highest bandwidth you can afford. See System bandwidth and our oscilloscope probes.

The SQ100, SQ200, SQ350 and SQ500 have a standard BNC connector and work with any oscilloscope with a 1 MΩ input.

The SQ200, SQ350 and SQ500 also have a probe ID pin, so compatible oscilloscopes set 10:1 scaling by themselves. With the SQ100 you set 10:1 on the channel.

A PCBite base plate and holders. The magnet in the base of each probe locks it to the base plate, and the holders keep the PCB in place at a fixed height.

The PCBite kits with probes include everything you need to start measuring. If you already have a PCBite setup, the probes are also sold on their own.

The SQ10 and the SQ oscilloscope probes can also be used handheld.

No. You order as a guest with your email address; the shop has no customer accounts.

We email the order confirmation right away, and the invoice or receipt when the order ships. Keep them: they are your copy of the order.

By card (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay, through Nexi.

Business customers in the EU with a valid VAT number can also pay by invoice, 14 days net. See Payment.

When your order ships. When you place the order, the amount is only reserved on your card or account.

Prices are shown in EUR, SEK or USD, excluding VAT. Choose the currency, and switch to prices including VAT, in the top menu.

The checkout always shows the VAT and the total before you order. The VAT depends on the delivery country and on whether you give a valid VAT number: see Terms and conditions, section 5.

Yes, if your company is in the EU and has a valid VAT number.

In the web shop, choose Invoice in the checkout and enter your purchase order number as the order reference. We also handle quotes and purchase orders by email, at the web shop prices. See Quotes and purchase orders.

Contact us as soon as possible: we can usually change an order, including the delivery address, until it ships.

As a consumer you can also withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving it, with Cancel purchase.

We ship from Sweden to more than 200 countries, and the checkout lists them all.

There are some countries we do not deliver to: they are listed on Shipping and delivery.

We charge low flat rates, set per country and delivery method.

The checkout shows the exact cost as soon as you choose the delivery country, and all rates are on Shipping and delivery.

Each product page shows its delivery time, or an expected date when a product is delayed, and the order confirmation repeats it.

We ship Monday to Friday, and you get a tracking number by email when the order ships. Time in transit depends on the country and the delivery method: see Shipping and delivery.

Not within the EU.

Outside the EU, the price in the checkout has no EU VAT, and the recipient pays any import VAT, customs duties and the carrier’s fees, usually on delivery. We cannot tell you these charges in advance; your local customs office can. See Shipping and delivery, section 7.

No, except for Great Britain, the only country with a minimum order. Every order there needs at least EUR 165 of products, excluding shipping and VAT.

We are not registered for VAT in the United Kingdom, so the recipient pays the import VAT and any duties on delivery. Orders to Great Britain are always shipped complete.

Private customers in Sweden, Denmark and Finland can choose a service point in the checkout.

Business customers get their parcels delivered to the business address.

As a consumer, yes: tell us within 14 days of receiving the products, with Cancel purchase or by email, without giving a reason.

We reply with a case number and the return address. You pay the return shipping, and we refund the price and the delivery cost.

Business customers can return products only if we agree in advance. See Returns and complaints.

12 months against defects in materials and workmanship, for consumers and business customers alike. It does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage from use outside the specifications.

As a consumer you also keep your rights under the law, including three years to complain about a defect. See Returns and complaints, section 5.

Email us your order number, what is wrong and, if you can, photos.

We reply with a case number, and if we need the product back, with the return address and, for consumers, a free return label.

Report transport damage as soon as possible; business customers within 7 days. See Returns and complaints.

Spare parts are sold in the shop, among the accessories for each probe: needles, ground springs, PCB holders, insulation washers and bottom caps.

For a problem outside the warranty, contact us and we will find a solution.
