What is PCBite?

Sensepeek makes user-friendly handsfree tools for everyone who works on a circuit board. We invented every part of PCBite: the handsfree oscilloscope probes, the handsfree debug probes, and the portable base plate with magnetic PCB holders that ties them together. Together they cover soldering, inspection, and measurement from DC to 6 GHz. Every part is designed so you can focus on the board, not the setup.

PCBite turns traditional test equipment into a handsfree measurement system. Connect your probe and let go. Measure with your oscilloscope, multimeter or logic analyzer while keeping both hands free to adjust the circuit. From DC to 6 GHz, PCBite probes are designed to stay exactly where you put them.

Passive 10:1 probes with a standard BNC connector, from 100 MHz to 1.5 GHz. Most models include a probe identification pin, allowing compatible oscilloscopes to recognize the probe and automatically set the 10:1 attenuation.

NEEDLES

Every needle, spring-loaded.

Both the test needle and ground needle are spring-loaded, providing a defined, consistent contact force on the pad. This keeps the connection stable throughout the measurement, even if the setup is bumped or exposed to vibration.

SPRING-LOADED GROUND

We reinvented the ground.

High-end probes often use a spring-loaded signal needle for reliable contact. The same principle is applied to ground with Sensepeek’s patented spring-loaded ground, positioned close to the signal point. The short ground path reduces loop inductance and improves signal integrity, while the spring-loaded ground adds the mechanical stability needed for reliable handsfree measurements.

Secure the PCB with the magnetic holders and solder with full access to the pads, regardless of board shape or outline. The board stays put, so both hands stay on the job.

MICROSCOPE WORK

Move the board, not the focus.

The PCB is held level at the same working height, so it stays sharp under the microscope. Slide the whole base plate sideways, forward or back to bring the next area into view, without touching the board or refocusing. Inspect, solder and rework in one continuous session.

COMPONENTS

Keep every component in focus.

Mount the Component tray on any PCBite holder to keep SMD parts at the same working height as the PCB, easy to see and pick under a microscope. The heat-resistant tray handles hot tweezers, so parts stay close at hand while you solder.

SOLDER WIRE

Solder wire, always within reach.

The PCBite Wire stand locks to any PCBite base plate or steel bench and keeps the spool exactly where you put it. The spool rotates smoothly, so the wire feeds out as you work. No tangles, no chasing rolls across the bench.

APPLICATIONS

Probe RF traces, matching networks and PCB-mounted RF connectors without soldering a coax pigtail. Connect to a spectrum analyzer, receiver or power meter, and measure the signal where it actually runs.

PATENTED GROUND DESIGN

Dual spring-loaded grounding.

High-end probes use a spring-loaded signal needle. The same principle is applied to ground through patented dual spring-loaded ground needles, improving contact stability and keeping the ground path short. Dual grounding is used across the range and becomes essential above 2.7 GHz for reliable handsfree measurements.
