Multipurpose base plates
A small magnetic surface, wherever you need one
Sometimes a full base plate takes up too much room. The multipurpose base plates are round, 80 mm in diameter, and give a handsfree probe, the magnifier or a small PCB in PCBite holders a magnetic surface of its own, on the bench or off it.
Through-holes let you mount a plate on a wall, a shelf or a fixture, so a probe can be placed exactly where it is needed, also away from the desk. On the bench, three rubber feet keep it steady.
A set of four plates (PCBITE-7027), with a durable powder-coated finish instead of an insulation cover. All PCBite holders, handsfree probes and accessories attach to them.
And yes, they make sturdy coasters. Some things are still best enjoyed handheld, and outside the lab.
