Retrofit insulation for the small base plate

Insulate the base plate you already have

Our newest base plates, the XS and the XL, come with the insulation cover pre-fitted. If you have an earlier PCBite S base plate, the insulation cover small (A5) gives it the same protection: the non-conductive polycarbonate keeps a powered PCB from shorting against the metal surface, and its anti-reflective finish reduces glare from the microscope light.

Peel off the backing, place it on the plate, done. The cover is 1 mm thick and attaches with a strong adhesive, and installation instructions are included.
