Probes for oscilloscopes

PCBite probes for oscilloscopes are handsfree 10:1 passive probes with BNC connectors, from the SQ100 at 100 MHz to the SQG15 at 1.5 GHz in AC or DC coupled versions. The SQ100, SQ200, SQ350 and SQ500 are high impedance probes with 10 MΩ at the tip for oscilloscopes with a 1 MΩ input, and the SQ200 to SQ500 add a probe ID pin, so compatible oscilloscopes set 10:1 scaling automatically. Spring-loaded signal and ground needles give a short ground path and stable contact, and the probe stays on the test point through long triggering sessions. The SQ probes are designed to IEC 61010-031 and rated CAT II 300 V RMS with the finger protection mounted. All probes are insulated, can also be used handheld and come with color coded cable holders. Typical measurements include power rail ripple, switching and PWM, clocks and digital edges, serial buses on a mixed signal oscilloscope and analog sensors. The low impedance SQG15 extends the range to 1.5 GHz for oscilloscopes with a 50 Ω input, with 0.35 pF typical tip capacitance for high-speed digital signals up to 3 Gbps and RF work.
