Kits for soldering & inspection

PCBite kits for soldering and inspection hold the PCB on magnetic PCB holders and an insulated base plate, ready for soldering, rework and microscope inspection. The XS kit has low profile holders on a 98 × 148 mm (3.86 × 5.83 in) base plate, the S kit a 148 × 210 mm (5.83 × 8.27 in, A5) base plate and the L kit a 210 × 297 mm (8.27 × 11.69 in, A4) base plate. Each holder combines a neodymium magnet, a knurled grip and a pressure spring, and can be placed anywhere on the plate to fit rectangular, round or irregular boards. The insulated base plate and the insulation washers allow powered PCBs to be held safely. The holders are made of anodized aluminum, and the polycarbonate insulation cover and washers are rated from −40 to +120 °C (−40 to +248 °F), so a soldering iron or heat gun can be used with confidence. Standard holders keep the board at 50 mm (1.97 in), which matches the focal point of the PCBite Magnifier, and low profile holders bring it down to 20 mm (0.79 in). Probes, holders and accessories from the same magnetic system can be added to any kit later.
