PCB Holder System for
Soldering & Inspection

Soldering & Inspection brings together PCBite kits and bench accessories for hand soldering, PCB rework and microscope inspection, all built on the same magnetic system. Each insulated kit pairs a steel base plate with a pre-fitted polycarbonate insulation cover and magnetic PCB holders, so a powered board can rest on the bench without shorting against the plate. The kits differ in size and holder height. The XS kit has a 98 × 148 mm (3.9 × 5.8 in) base plate and low profile holders that carry the board 20 mm (0.79 in) above the plate, close to the bench for small boards and microscope work. The S kit uses an A5 base plate of 148 × 210 mm (5.8 × 8.3 in) and the L kit an A4 base plate of 210 × 297 mm (8.3 × 11.7 in), both with standard holders at a 50 mm (1.97 in) working height that leaves room for tall components on the underside of the board. Every holder has an N52 neodymium magnet in its base, a knurled grip and a pressure spring that holds the board, so the PCB stays at a fixed height while the holders slide to a new position when the board changes. Extra holders at 20 mm (0.79 in) and 50 mm (1.97 in) add support points for large or irregular boards. The component tray mounts on either holder, so parts sit at the same working level as the board and stay in focus under the microscope. It has numbered compartments, a knurled edge for turning and an all-metal body that handles heated tweezers. The wire stand holds the solder spool on the bench so the wire feeds freely. Four multipurpose base plates, 80 mm (3.1 in) across, add small magnetic spots for a probe, the magnifier or a small board where the main plate does not fit. The A5 insulation cover turns a bare steel plate into an insulated work surface.
