Introduction

A clean connection from PCBite probes to your Saleae logic analyzer. Eight wires, color coded to match the Saleae software, with no loose jumper wires to sort out.

A 2×4 wire harness that connects PCBite SP10 and SQ10 probes directly to a Saleae logic analyzer, or to any instrument with a 2.54 mm (0.100 in) pitch IDC pin header. One end fits the 2×4 header on the instrument, and the other end has individual 2.54 mm (0.100 in) jumper connectors, often called Dupont connectors, that plug onto the probes.

Four wires carry the signals and four are ground. The signal wires are color coded to match channels 4 to 7 in the Saleae software, so it is easy to see which probe is on which channel.

The harness is 0.8 m (31.5 in) long and fits the Saleae range. It is tested with Saleae Logic 4, Logic 8, Logic Pro 8 and Logic Pro 16 (Generation 2).

DECODE

From probe to protocol.

Place the probes on I2C, SPI or UART lines and decode the bus while the board runs. The probes stay in place handsfree, so you can change the code, reset the board and capture again without moving a wire.
