Stimulus and response on an engine control module
Maic Salazar, who runs Maic Salazar Diagnostics, works on engine control modules. In this video he puts four SP10 handsfree probes on a module: two feed it simulated crankshaft and camshaft signals, and two measure how it responds. He bought the kit himself.
The SP10 brings its probe tip straight out to the test wire, so the same probe can measure a node or feed a signal into it, depending on the instrument at the other end. Read about the differences between SP10 and SQ10, or see all probes for multimeters and logic analyzers.
