Two low profile PCBite PCB holders with the same magnetic base, knurled grip and pressure spring as the standard holders, but with a shorter body that carries the PCB at a working height of 20 mm (0.79 in) instead of 50 mm (1.97 in). Position them anywhere on the base plate to hold a PCB of any shape or outline during soldering, inspection and measurement.
Each holder opens up to 5 mm (0.20 in) and is operated with one hand. Press the knurled sleeve down, slide in the PCB and release, and the pressure spring holds it firmly. The holders grip cables just as well as boards, so a cable can be held at exactly the same height as the PCB while you solder it in place, or two wires can be held end to end and soldered together.
The lower height fits where standard holders do not, such as inside TEM cells and with low profile boards. Low profile and standard holders can share the same base plate, so different PCBs can be held at different heights in the same setup.
An N52 neodymium magnet keeps each holder in place, while a wear-resistant bottom cap lets it slide smoothly across the base plate when you reposition it. Add the extra holders when a PCB needs more support or when several boards share the same base plate.
The anodized aluminum body has a non-conductive surface, and the included yellow insulation washers separate the metal from the PCB traces, so powered boards can be held safely.
A PCBite base plate is required.
