The PCBite Wire stand holds solder wire on the base plate, right next to the PCB. The spool rotates smoothly on a precision-machined axis, so the wire feeds out as you pull it, with no tension to work against.
The wire is guided through a 1.6 mm (0.06 in) hole, so the same stand takes any solder wire from 0.15 mm to 1.6 mm (0.006 in to 0.06 in), from fine wire for SMD work to heavier wire for through-hole soldering.
A strong N52 neodymium magnet keeps the stand securely in place, while a low friction pad lets you slide it across the base plate or push it aside when it is not needed. Place it at the front, side or back of the setup, on any PCBite base plate or steel bench surface.
The compact stand has a knurled top 20 mm (0.79 in) in diameter and a height of 25 mm (0.98 in). The solid metal construction stays rigid and stable on the bench and is built for years of daily use.
Fits the XS, S, L and XL PCBite base plates. Solder wire and base plates are sold separately.
