Oscilloscope probe accessories

Oscilloscope probe accessories for PCBite SQ100, SQ200, SQ350 and SQ500 probes cover grounding, replacement tips, adapters and cable management for handsfree measurements up to 500 MHz. A short ground path decides how much of the probe bandwidth reaches the oscilloscope, so grounding comes first. Ground spring needles have a spring-loaded pin that reaches the ground point while the probe stands in its holder and keep the full rated bandwidth in handsfree use. Ground springs give the same short ground path when you hold the probe by hand. For ground points further away, the ground cable accessories add alligator clips, mini grabbers and leads with 2.54 mm (0.100 in) jumper connectors, often called Dupont connectors, for CAT 0 measurements. The sprung hook grips component leads in handheld use and, with the finger protection mounted on the probe, is rated for 300 V RMS CAT II. Replacement probe tip needles restore reliable contact on small test points, and tip protection caps cover the sharp needle when the probe is stored or carried. The MMCX adapter connects the probe to an MMCX connector on the board for the shortest possible ground path in noise-sensitive measurements such as power supply ripple, and the BNC adapter connects it to a BNC connector. Color-coded cable holders snap onto the flexible arm and the probe cable, so you can see at a glance which oscilloscope channel each probe belongs to.
